23. Thiru.S. Chellapandian Diamond Jubilee Prize:

(Instituted by Thirunelveli District Congress Charitable Trust) Awarded to the best outgoing student of the college to be chosen by the Management on the basis of the academic achievement and performance in other spheres of activities.

25.Thirumathi.S.Vinayagathammal & Tmt. M. Gangaiammal Memorial Prize:

(Instituted in the name of his mother and grandmother by Prof. T.S. Murugan, Former HOD of Zoology in The M.D.T. Hindu College, Tirunelveli) Awarded to the two best students of II Year B.Sc., Zoology Major Course who have scored the highest marks in B.Sc. First year Zoology major subjects. The prize is to be awarded from the interest amount accured every year from the endowment amount of Rs. 5,000/-

26.Prof. P.K. Jacob and Thiru. Rama Kanaga sabapathi Pillai Memorial Prize:

(First HOD of Zoology and first office manager respectively in the M.D.T. Hindu College, Tirunelveli. Instituted by prof. T.S. Murugan former HOD of Zoology in The M.D.T Hindu College,Tirunelveli.) The prize is to be awarded to the best student of the III B.Sc Zoology major course who has scored the highest marks in the second year B.Sc. Zoology major course who has scored the highest marks in the second year B.Sc. Zoology major subject. The prize is to be awarded form the interest amount accrued every year from the endowment amount of Rs. 5000/-

27. Prof. S. Kaliappan Endowments

Two Endowments by Prof. S. Kaliappan (Retd) of Rs. 10,000/- each. The amount by interest accrued on the principal of one is to be used to meet the expenses related to the conduct of seminars etc in Tamil. The second is to be used for subscribing for journals in Tamil and purchasing books in Tamil relating to Tamil Dept, Saiva samayam and Science.
